 23rd Annual Super Speedway Weekend - Page 2 of 4
Saturday ....beautiful weather for our event

We took a quick group photo prior to the parade lap
       
Competitors were arriving, checking their cars over and then pulling them out into their assigned staging lane

We had 68 competitors total, 5 of them were from out of region coming from as far away as IL & MI, 2 from the Midwest Region, 2 from the West Region and 1 from the Michigan Region

 
      
Rick Watson hosted the driver's meetings on Saturday & Sunday Course Design was by Doug McMahan
 

 

WORKERS (non-competitors)  

 Ann Walker, Barb Greenfeder, Carla Schneider, Carol Savage, Cydnie Geyer, David & Becky Clark, Vicki Currey, Jack Gandy, Fred Proctor, Jim & Donna Forsythe, Larry Dyer, Larry & Sylvia Hoaldridge, Mary Pittman, Raley & Jo Anne Smith, Richard Downing, Rick & Karen Watson, William Nolan, Rod Cherry, Gayle Cherry, Korey Rogers

 

 

  Next we held the Parade Laps so each competitor had a chance to drive thru the course
  
Glenda McMahan chaired "Timing Boards" with lots of help to post and record times from the runs.  Ann Walker, Barb Greenfeder, Jo Anne Smith, and others.  
     
Chad & Christi Martin chaired "Pre-Staging" function for the weekend
    
    
Becky Clark chaired Timing. Vicki Currey and Cydnie Geyer worked with her. 

They are laughing as a corner worker just called in reporting car 5 just hit a cone...and took it with him
David Clark chaired "Starter" function for the weekend & they filled in at the entrance to the track as needed; getting the cars up on the track. 
Scott Wheeler was our other starter for the weekend.
    
 It takes a lot of workers to man the four corners out on the course throughout the event
thank you all!!!		  
Richard Downing chaired Corner Workers... and has taken most of the Vettes Racing on the track pictures

Corner Workers have the best seats at the event...		  
  They also have the important job of standing these poor defenseless cones back up & recording the car # that hit them
