A cool and windy day to come out to cruise with our Vettes
A good turnout for the cruise, the Vettes kept showing up a few at a time.
     
Time to roll out and get to cruisin'
We headed south on Hwy 377 down to Granbury

...nice long caravan of Corvettes (24)
     
      
1st Stop on the route
 
We stopped in Granbury for cruiser points and a "pit stop"
      
Heading northwest from Granbury on Hwy 4 up and over to Thurber
      
      
     
2nd Stop on the Route
We pulled the Vettes in for a group photo
     
     
everyone had time to grab their Cruiser Photo
before the group shot
      
   
      
  never thought of a splitter doubling as a shovel
  
      
3rd Stop - LUNCH TIME
 
Lunch was at Mary's Cafe in Strawn
This was the end of the 1st Part of the Cruise
      
      
Part 2 of the Cruise
 
2nd part had 17 Vettes that continued on over to Albany
       
       
      
On into Albany, TX
 
several neat things around town to grab a photo with your Vette
      
a locally owned car museum was available for people to visit.
      
      
   
      
several historic signs and war memorials around the courthouse
an old fashioned (actual original) Drug Store and Malt Shop was a popular place for our group along with the locals
  Albany was on-your-own ...you could stay as long as you wanted and head on home when you got ready.  
     
We had a fun day - a full day rounding out over 300 miles round trip
