Afternoon Cruise to the Lake
After spending several hours at the
car show, a handful of us decided to take a short cruise
up to Lake Ouchita, just north and west of Hot Springs.
We walked back to the hotel, past the Nat'l Park to grab
our Vettes
lots of fun and scenic roads J
We stopped on top of the dam to take a look at the lake
and below; of course grabbing a shot of the Vettes
together :)
Great location for a group photo too
We then headed over to the spillway
area where the
3 sisters historic site where mineral water
from the three springs are supposed to cure several
different ailments.
Saturday Night Dinner
Dinner reservations this evening were at 7:30 at the
Porterhouse Steak and Seafood restaurant,
south of bath-house row on Central - a nice evening walk.
Fourteen of us enjoyed the evening here
After dinner, we strolled back up Central Ave, stopping in
a few shops. A few of us stopped into
Capone's Ohio Bar for a brew while
listening to local live music.
After returning to the hotel, we joined others for a few
hours visiting and enjoying our last night in Hot Springs -
no photos of the late evening festivities
