international motorcycle riding association
sponsored by Yamaha. Each year we
raise money for our chosen charity, Feed the
Children. This year we are holding a
motorcycle and
car show at Stadium Yamaha
located at 520 W. Airport Fwy Irving TX.

and motorcycles of all makes, models and
types. There will be judging and

Last years classic car
show was fantastic. This year we are partnering
with our community Police departments and will
have police interceptors, DARE program cars,
other paramilitary vehicles as well as classic,
hot rods, motorcycles and anything you have that
is tricked out. Prizes will be given out in the
following categories: Spectators Choice, Pastors
Choice, Best Paint, Best Engine and Best
Interior. There will also be door prizes and

for the Troops2” Car Show - 11:00

military deployed in Afghanistan and The Boys &
Girls Clubs of Denton County.
Working in
conjunction with the City of Lake Dallas, Texas,
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Denton County will be
taking over Main Street to provide the
opportunity of classic car, truck and motorcycle
enthusiasts to display their prized rides. But
this isn’t just a car show, we’ll have the
reigning Ms. Texas, Kristen Blair, on hand to
meet and greet attendees, sign autographs and as
a special honor to our military, Ms. Blair will
be performing the National Anthem at the
beginning of the Awards Ceremony. The Viet Nam
Veterans of America will be displaying several
military vehicles including the well known
“Huey” helicopter. In addition, we’ll have
things for the younger folks to do including an
inflatable water slide, bounce house, games and
just down the street the Mighty Thomson Carnival
will be open to provide fun for kids of all
ages.
We haven’t forgotten about the adults
either. Several different food vendors will be
offering scrumptious food stuffs from smoked
barbecue meats to freshly made sub-sandwiches,
hamburgers, hot dogs, Mexican food and more. How
about some piping hot funnel cakes to satisfy
the sweet tooth appetite? Also, supporting the
event is various vendors displaying their
services and products. And don’t forget, for
those “hot wings” lovers the Hooter’s Girls will
be providing some tasty samples. |

We are writing from American National
CHROME, classic car insurance. We just
wanted to inform you and your members about
an opportunity to show your cars,
and to support a little girl named Kodi Tutt.
Kodi Tutt is six years old and was diagnosed
in March with neuroblastoma, an aggressive
cancer in children. Her community has put on
several fund raiser events to raise support
for her medical costs. This Sunday, October
24th there will be an event,

North Texas Fair Grounds from 1:00 pm to
9:00 pm. The car judging (Kars for Kodi)
will be awarded by 5:00 pm and there are
concerts to follow. 2217 N Carroll Blvd.

Don't forget the Athens Whataburger
Cruise Nite on Thursday, October
28th. 6 p.m. - ? ? ? Since we're getting
close to Halloween, there will be "treats"
for the first 20 cars to arrive. there will
also be great tunes, door prizes and a 50/50
raffle. Look forward to seeing you there.

Richland high school swim team is presenting
it's
1st Annual Custom Car, Truck and Bike Show.
Entry fee is $10. Everyone is welcome. All
proceeds benefit the swim team for
equipment, scholarships and replacing a
record board at the school. We would like to

Car & Craft
Show
between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on the campus of
Denton High School located at 1007 Fulton,
Denton, TX. All proceeds will benefit the
DHS Choir Department, one of the most
honored and awarded choir programs in the
State of Texas. The craft show has been an
anticipated tradition for more than a decade
bringing thousands to welcome in the Holiday
Season. This year’s event expands the
festivities by adding the excitement of a
classic and custom car show. Registration
for the Car Show is $20.00. There will be
class trophies, door prizes from our
sponsors, Best of Show award, and People’s
Choice award voted on by everyone attending
the event. You can preregister by contacting
