This morning was the start of
another beautiful day outside; some of us wandered to
another breakfast favorite, the Colonial Pancake
and Waffle House, just north of the hotel.
Across the street from the Arlington Hotel, the National
Park was hosting a "Past Meetings Present"
event with several booths of information and
demonstrations.
Some, you could even participate
in, as you see Donna doing here.
Saturday - Car Show
This morning was the start of
another beautiful day outside; some of us wandered to
another breakfast favorite, the Colonial Pancake
and Waffle House, just north of the hotel.
Doc & Mary Anne started "dark thirty" as
he put it... preparing ANN for the show -
the show started at 89am
If you hadn't put 2 and 2 together, the 'awesome
'67 BB Roadster sitting by the awards at the
front of the coliseum was the 2009 Best of
Show - featured on this year's literature,
t-shirt and artwork
There were approximately 110 Vettes indoors and another
40ish out back.
ANN was cleaned and getting lots of attention -
getting a photo without it being swarmed with people was
tough!
Out back, there were three C2's for sale out back, a white C2 coupe
in the show (no price)
This really nice red '63 roadster which sported a 540 HP
engine for $45k
