Testa for grabbing the camera at times to snap a few
pictures for us (and of us)
Sunday Morning,
with the skies overcast we departed on our cruise home,
a few cruisers short. Jack & Karla headed down to
Wurstfest down in New Braunfels while Carol & Jim stuck
around Fredericksburg to catch up with an old friend.
The
Nimiz Museum was seen as we headed up Washington and
left onto main street - The National Museum of the
Pacific War
Last chance
for the CCP point for (G)illipspie County and (F)redericksburg
City - 2 pointers since this was a historical site
The first stop of today
was a Private Tour and Diva Tasting at
Flat Creek Estates in Marble Falls, TX
Time to twist and turn as we
head over to 80 acre Flat Creek Estates location
Doug, I
need another creek for my CCP points - out
comes the camera and snap!!!!
Their facility was very nice,
including the B&B that they have next door
Madelyn (owner)
greeted us as we pulled in. She was gracious
enough to open at 10:30 for our arrival. Her
husband Rick was at a wine show today.
Inside we found a very
spacious facility made for entertaining
We were taken down to the
Winery for the tour prior to our Diva Tasting - it was just
down the hill from the main facility
We were taken thru the LAB
where the Winemaker holds all the secrets to their special
blends
