Back up at the main building,

we all started to sit down for
the tasting when we realized we could all squeeze into one
table |

I had made our reservations for ten more people, 4 that stayed went other directions
today and six that didn't make the trip at all from the
start
The Diva Tasting was a $5 per
person and you did get to keep the souvenir wine glass

We toured their B&B next door,
which is adjacent to the main offices |

The pond / waterfall behind
the B&B was a little green but would be very peaceful to
sit and watch the stars by. |

After everyone
paid their tab, bought their wine, we loaded up and headed
out
It was so
peaceful here at Flat Creek that we really hated to leave!!! |

took longer than expected and we were off-schedule a little,
not to worry, we will alter the plans a little |

Karen with
Alamosa Wine Cellars had recommended The
Yumm Factory for lunch. Unfortunately we were
all tired and we didn't opt to make the last two wineries (Alamosa
&
Brennan) on the way home - we will catch them another
trip.
Carol and Jim had been there a
few minutes when we arrived.
We dined outside under the
trees and the food was great - good choice Karen |

After lunch, we
turned the cruise reins over to Frank & Lei to
lead everyone home |

The roads heading up Hwy 281 are
flatter, the turns are not as sharp and the roads are much
wider that the Hill Country |

road and took an alternate back route to Mansfield, grabbing
