Apr 16 / Saturday - Bourne, TX

13th Annual Car Show put on by the Texas Corvette Association of San Antonio to benefit St. Jude's.  There were over 300 cars in the show with 75% being corvettes. Longhorn Corvettes from Austin brought in 35 cars.  They raised over $13,000 in their silent auction.  They had a regular auction that raised over $1200 (to items) and had a drawing that one of the prizes was a 45" plasma TV.  One of their members sold over 700 chances as $5 a chance for that plus all of us that took chances there (who know how much that raised.  Then there was the entry fee of $25 early registration and $30 late plus the dinner tonight and the money raised for the cruise tomorrow.  Needless to say it was a very profitable show.  The show was a participant's choice car show.
