31st Annual National Corvette Homecoming - Bowling Green, KY

The Trip Out - 7/17 & 7/18 Bowling Green is a solid eleven hours from our home so we broke it into two days
we headed out on Tuesday evening after work - out I-30; a ways down the road the storm clouds were forming			sure enough - rain ...so much for the clean Vette

	we stopped for the night in Arkadelphia, AR. Wednesday, we decided to takes a few back roads before heading on into Bowling Green

Arrival at the National Corvette Homecoming - Wed, 7/18
		After checking into the hotel, we went across the street to the Sloan Convention Center - vendors were setting up outside

	The Sloan Convention Center is home base for the National Corvette Homecoming - it and the Holiday Inn will be where the 54th NCCC Convention (2013) will be held

		Thursday morning, lots of us where out cleaning our Vettes - some getting ready to put them in the Show & Shine

	We pulled into the parking lot and found our GS' Twin - what are the odds? ...these are two of 228 Switchblade Silver GS' with the Red Hashes - ours now has the ZR1 ground effects package on it


	We parked in front of the convention center to go inside to check-in to the NCH; we parked next to a 2013 60th Anniversary Z06 'Vert.


	in the convention center parking lot there were several Corvettes, as expected


		this '61 was was getting a minor carb tweak - it would be found for sale later

	The Car Show Judging Tent ...guess they were doing a dry run on this Silver Convertible


	Several Vendors were setting up outside

		The Corvettes Conquer Cancer Charity was in attendance

	inside the convention center several vendors were setting up as well


	The Sans Pareil & Show & Shine Vettes were setting up inside


	some nice vehicles (like this ZR1) could be found in the Car Corral
