Members met at the TMAH at 10:00 AM

as we arrived, we parked up under the entrance and out front - putting all the Corvettes on display

Did you remember to get your CCP Photo?

while we were waiting to go in, a squirrel was curious and came to see what all the commotion was.

We paid our $7.50 entry (per person) and went in to enjoy the museum

Remember Alan Sheperd, yes the astronaut, one of his former Corvettes was on display

1963 Grand Sport

The Mercer Raceabout, a factory built race car from 1913

Automobiles previously owned by George Harrison, Babe Ruth, Alan Shepard were on exhibit - you will find photos of these in the slideshow below

Photos of some of the other vehicles on exhibit

Chuck Broadway (curator) talked to the group about the museum and how it started, where it is today and what they have planned for the future; and of course the cars on display, four of which are valued at over $1M

Chuck talked about the Museum Based Restoration Factory program; which they hope to bring back someday

Hungry anyone?

Those that opted to, took off for lunch in Arlington, TX

we arrived at our lunch destination, Humperdinks

THE END
