The buttons, the silk, fine linens, boots, pots, pans, knives, well over 3 million buttons; almost anything you can imagine

The Corvette Parade Thru Topeka
From the Convention Center to Heartland Park, around the high speed track, back up thru town around the Kansas State Capital and back to the Convention Center

Originally, we were supposed to parade to the capital, park and enjoy dinner on at the capital; with the record heat wave, it was changed so that we enjoyed dinner at the Convention Center
The route was over twenty miles uninterrupted parade fun - no red lights, stop signs, etc.

We staged outside of the Convention Center and the Vettes kept coming

Larry & Linda visiting with the lead officer

The lead officer provided a quick driver's meeting to explain the route and what to do

We departed south on Topeka Blvd with well over one hundred Corvettes in the Parade

departing the Convention center we drove single lane southwe double-laned as we arrived at the predetermined intersection for a group photo

As we drove, we saw people along the road with taking photos, others with video cameras and many more just looking and waiving

Arrival into Heartland ParkDeparture from Heartland Park

Heading north from Heartland ParkArriving in downtown ...to circle parade around the capital

The Vettes after the parade, parked outside the Convention BallroomThe officers, local and state that blocked roads and made the parade flow smoothly
