Monday Morning

A rainy, ugly day as we awoke and looked out the hotel window :(
       

THE NCCC Rallye

the rain let up a little and it was our departure time for the Rallye - we didn't take very many photos during the Rallye and finally just enjoyed the scenery and forgot about finishing the Rallye
The Route 66 Drag Strip where drag racing will be held tomorrow      grabbing a cruiser point with the NASCAR track - Chicago Land Speedway
       
The Rallye took you to the Abraham Lincoln Nat'l Cemetary
       
  The Rallye Master and crew table is where you turned in your Rallye forms   
       

The Lapping Day at the AutoBahn

we had just pulled into the Autobahn and the bottom fell out and it started raining again
       
   
       
  The Autobahn track was large, 3.56 miles if I recall correctly - with the club house almost centered in the tracks   
       
They were setting up tables for the catered meal later  ...still raining - we SURE COULD USE this back in Texas!

  ...and the food was served, feeding groups of 100 at a time (going by badge / entry number)
