The SWR Attendees of this convention
The room was full and everyone was ready to party
Trivia:
In 2008, the SWR hosted Convention and
moved the previous year's awards from the end of the
convention week up to the Sunday night at the start of
Convention. This not only helps reduce the long serious of
awards at the end but it gives those competitors all week
to be recognized.
The Top 15 Club Awards
The Top 15 Men & Women Awards
The neat "Star" treatment on the dance floor commemorated
the 2009 Top 15 Men, Women and Clubs - the SWR had
three clubs along with one man & woman in the Top 15 for
2009
A special tribute for Ray Meesseman, who
passed suddenly at the end of 2009. Ray and Sharon
had made a couple of visits to the SWR running events in
2009.
Cornhusker Corvette Club of the
West Region was the Top Club for 2009
Cornhusker Corvette Club was also the
third club in history to be awarded the
Duntov Award
