SATURDAY, 10/25/08
Saturday AM was an early one (7AM), since the majority opted for a proposed alternate route thru Bandera
two ladies opted to stick around Fredericksburg today to enjoy the local shops and shopping
       
  ...the sun was peeking above the horizon as we approached Bandera  
       
  49 miles down the road, we were in Bandera for breakfast at the Old Spanish Trail (OST) restaurant  
       
The "Ladies Room" was decorated with "some fine artwork" as some of th eladies put it
       
...as cruisers paid their bill, we re-assembled at the historic 1890 Bandera County Courthouse;
there is a twin to this one in Burlington, Kentucky
   
....lots of history was made and captured here
     
...a couple of Veteran's Memorials were located on the courthouse grounds
