We passed the 75 newly erected
turbines wind just before we reached Muenster.
The 13,000#, 128' long bladed turbines were installed
this year |

...we arrived at
Doc's Bar & Grill a few minutes after noon.
We had reserved the upstairs room for our lunch
gathering today. |

we looked outside and noticed a local photographer
snapping pictures of our Vettes |

|
|
|
Jan (our waitress) did an AWESOME
job taking care of our group today - and the food and
refreshments were awesome |

|
Their building was originally the first hospital and
pharmacy in Muenster and opened in the 1920's.
Upstairs they had one of the original baby scales on display |

|
|
|
|
after lunch, there was some free time to spend as you
wished; some cruised back up to the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, others visited local shops
while others went to
Fischer's Meat Market in business since 1927 - awesome
food here!!!! |

From Decatur up to where Hwy 667 intersects Hwy 373 is
great... and Hwy 373 down into Muenster is fun as well.
The RED represents a torn out
highway, which altered our route (blue)
back thru Decatur and home via Hwy 287 |

...when we arrived back in Decatur, several
entries for this evening's car show around the courthouse
were already setup - we wandered around to take a peek at
them while we stretched our legs. |
