The Meet & Greet, Cocktail time started at 6:00 pm.
This is the first time since the end of the 2005 Season
that we have seen most of our competitors.

donated a framed, custom collage as a door prize.
The collage featured a list of the Top 10 men, women and
clubs (including logos) along with photos of the top 10
men & women competing in their Vettes.
Vickie Burgess (OCCC) won the collage - the bottom
pictures were created because one was the only Vette
pulling a wheel-stand at the drags this past year -
Sam's C3 Coupe, while Alan Hill showed off his Vette's
Torque on the autocross track lifting the inside wheel
on the turns.
Both were donated to the owners by
Bernice Molenda, our 2006 Regional Executive (RE) gave the
opening welcome and a moment of silence in remembrance
of our friend Larry Kolb and others that have passed.

Chow time... as the Regional Officers led the charge,
the troops fell in behind.
After
dinner was over, Brenda Lackey, our 2006 Regional
Membership Director (RMD) came up to recognize Clubs
with large growth for the year
Alan Jarvis
of Tulsa Vette Sets accepted awards from the SW
Region for being the largest club in the SW Region
Alan also
accepted the award from NCCC as being the largest
club in the nation.
The SW
Region recognized Brenda Lackey for her
outstanding work as RMD for the past four years -
presented by Bernyce Molenda
Bernyce also recognized Joe Reese for his
outstanding work as Regional Competition Director (RCD)
for the past four years.
Outstanding Member for 2006 was presented to
Jeanie Ruston of Oklahoma City Corvette Club (OCCC)
