a little before 11am, the
Lake Dillion Fire
& Rescue truck arrived to provide the photographer
platform for the official photo shoot |
The first photographer from
Associated Photographics
went up in the bucket |
Later, Doug
managed to get a ride up to take a few pictures - they
asked before we lifted if I had a fear of heights - said
we would be going 90+ feet up
Mike
McDonald, my brother-in-law snapped these pictures while
I was in the bucket |

This was the view standing on the fire
truck
platform, before the lift went up |

Mike & Glenda standing on the street |
Looking 180 degrees from the car show you
could see the Dillon Reservoir |
I zoomed in snapped this shot of our car (blue) from over a block
away |

these are just a couple of the Vettes I snapped
individual shots of while up in the bucket |
The view from the 90+ feet elevation was awesome as you can
see. Far left is a shot of the full Car Show, the
other shots are zoomed further down the street to
capture some of the Vettes that don't show up in the
full
view of the Car Show. |

The Door Prize and Award Ceremony was
held at a Covered Shelter off main street |
After the awards, we took the display
down, ate lunch and got on the road around 4:30 pm
- heading home |
Just South of Woodland Park, we ran
across Bust, Co... the sign tells it all |
We made it to Colorado Springs, Co that evening before
calling it a night |
