Cowtown Members have the opportunity to work as TMS Pit Security during the events, below are a few pictures taken by Carl during the 4/6/06 event while not on duty.

An official TMS Car - note the 10 Years Strong on the side of it

Driver Denny Hamlin (red & white hat) suited up for the Busch Grand National (BGN) O’Reilly 300 race

BGN pit boxes on upper pit road. The “06 3M” pit is Chad Chaffin, the orange “Yellow Racing” pit is #00, Johnny Sauter

Scott on upper pit road by the ‘hole’ to pit lane. Hanging with the gas guys getting ready for the start of the BGN race on Saturday

Scott Wheeler on the job (front) at his spot on pit road

Looking from Scott’s point of view prior to the start of the O’Reilly 300. The guy in the white had is a radio pit road reporter.

The northwest entrance to the BGN garage

The cutaway engine that accompanies the cutaway car. Jeff Hammond illustrated fuel pump mountings with this engine during the Nextel Cup race broadcast

The Fox Sports television crew’s cutaway car (outside the Hollywood Hotel where Chris Meyers and Jeff Hammond provide commentary during the race broadcasts).

The car was set up just south of Victory circle on upper pit road. The car is mounted on a spit-like jig and can be rotated 360 degrees about its longitudinal axis

A fact few know: you did not see the car on the Nextel Cup race broadcast because the jig broke and it fell! It landed on its top. No one was hurt

The Clint Bowyer pit box (BGN)

The Mark McFarland pit box (BGN)

Looking north on upper pit road; Victory circle is on the right (w/ the limp American flag); garages are off to the right; pit boxes are off to the left

Pace laps prior to the start of the BGN O’Reilly 300.

The red and white car is #20, Denny Hamlin, the pole sitter

Pace lap through turn 2 (duh! Read the wall!!)

This looks like the BGN cars coming off of the dog leg front stretch hading toward turn 1 - Carl is in the stands today

The TMS Condos overlooking the track in turn #2
