May 100%er

As announced during last month’s club meeting, our 100%er for May will 
be a tour of the American Airlines Maintenance Hangar with lunch to 
follow.  This event will take place on May 19th in the American Airlines 
Hangars at DFW Airport.  

We will meet at 9am in the parking lot on the Northwest corner of Hwy 
157 and Hwy 183 in Euless.  This parking lot is very large and just across 
the street from Trinity High School and Trinity Baptist Church.  

I have made reservations at “Flips Patio Grill” for lunch.  I will need a 
headcount for Flips at the May membership meeting.  

If you will not be at the meeting, please send me an email so I can give 
"Flips" a headcount.  Please note, the following rules for entry into the 
hangars, “NO purses, backpacks, fanny packs or bags of any kind including 
camera bags.”  You may bring your camera, just not the bag.  No open toed 
shoes of any kind and I would suggest comfortable shoes.  Since we will be 
making entry to any aircraft that we board via a “maintenance stand”, you 
will also need to wear slacks or shorts.  Ladies, you will understand why 
when you get there.  

The actual address of the hangar is 2122 W. 16th Ave., DFW Airport, Texas.  
  
If you will NOT be at the May membership meeting but plan on attending the 
"Hangar Tour" please let me know via email vettelady67@sbcglobal.net or 
give me a call, 817/283-8430 home, 817/994-0248 so I get a lunch headcount 
for seating purposes.
