The Funkhana
Doug and Glenda McMahanwere chair persons for the Funkhana
The theme for this year’s Funkhana was “Honey Do.”
T Per NCCC Rules, there are four Classes of teams: A=Male / Female, B=Male / Male, C=Female / Female, D=Female / Male
START Both Driver and Navigatorbegin in Corvette by buckling seat belts and raising hands. When starter says “GO”, one entrant will start the timer. Both entrants will exit the Corvette and proceed to the next station. Note: make sure the timer started – if not, you will have to start over.
Station 1: The navigator must toss 3 items into a tire.
Station 2: Both driver and navigator must put on gloves. The
navigator must pick up wheel and put on stool. Driver must pick up
lug nuts and washers and place on wheel. Driver must push stool with
wheel on it through a chicane, then “park.”
Station 3: Driver must roll up extension cord and plug ends
together. Navigator must toss double looped cord over cone.
Station 4: Driver must toss at least 2 bottle caps into the
small trash basket.
Station 5: Navigator must toss balls (tied together with
cord) and hang on “clothes line.”
Station 6: Driver and navigator must fold all clothes on
table and pass inspection.
Station 7: Navigator must put on apron. Driver must put on
mitt and use tongs to place eggs (balls) on top of cones.
Station 8: Driver must remove collected plates from bag,
place bag on ground, plates on bag and plunger on plates.
Return to Corvette, buckle seatbelts and stop stopwatch.
