Five of our club members braved the rain on Thursday, May 7th and completed our first day of support to Habitat for Humanity.
They worked on one of 5 Alcon sponsored houses all within a block of each other.
According to Fred, "the work was hard, but fulfilling. I had hammered my thumb just one too many times to press the shutter button on my phone for a group picture!"
Donna Forsythe represented the club on Saturday, May 9th. She commented that she did things that day that she promised herself she wouldn't do, but agreed she would volunteer again.
Ask these club volunteers about their experience and maybe you can join in the fun next time. Thanks to all of you for your support!
