A GREAT TURNOUT

lots of members drove their Vettes to the social today

Doc outlining the logistics for the tour; we were split up in 6 groups

we ended up in Doc's group so he was our tour guide and historian

some of the aircraft was open for you to sit in

George W Bush actually flew this plane 3 times, according to the log book

their work and picnic area

our tour was complete outside and we headed to the indoor part of the museum

A Hero Tree to honor the fallen

Historic data and timeline from Vietnam to Ft Worth

numerous models of historic to modern aircraft

Lots of historic displays, even the history of what many of the pilots did for a job after the war was over

 several military uniforms on display

you could sit in and look at the flight simulator

78 additional photos

Vettes & Jets
three people won (drawing) the option to photo their Vette with an aircraft

after those were done, others were able to do so with a donation to the museum
or to take photos with other aircraft
some enjoyed watching under the shade trees

13 additional photos

did you get your Cowtown Cruiser Point for attending the social in your Corvette?

Most of the group enjoyed lunch up at Boston's after the social was over
