We cruised from Brenham down to Brookshire for our first activity for the day, the Hemi Hideout
They asked us pull thru the covered entrance to let our passenger out

then we pulled to the back of the building to park ...then they drove us back around to the front via Golf Carts

A nice grouping parked around back

 Great Photo opportunity

The grounds of the 110 acre property were almost as amazing as the building and contents

a group photo before heading in

at the front door you are welcomed by a "Texas style" neon sign
Immediately when walking inside, you notice the original chuck wagon

under it, you see the custom made Hemi Hideout floor tiles with the cars in the hideout

The offices are to the right of the front door when you come inLooking back at the front door(s)

Next is the custom made Hemi Hideout, "hemi powered elephant"

The building structure was totally amazing, said to be one of the tallest building with wooden beams without screws, bolts or metal in the wooden structure

John (owner) gave us the history of  himself, the facility, the contents and the people that helped create the Hemi Hideout

of course there were lots of Hemi powered mopars

numerous interesting antiques antiques of all flavors
antique gas pumps - some were very rare and even unique

numerous antique tractors and such

hundreds of neon signs, most of them are originals and the few reproductions are slowly being replaced

The Richfield below is one of 6 ever built

recognize the cowboy neon sign?

lots of one-off custom artwork, signs not to mention the art behind most of the mopars

...complete with a retro dinner

a great relaxing and visiting area

of course with the Hemi Hideout neo above the fireplace

Lots of outback room  and you are in Texas so yes, saddles to sit on at the bar

 The playhouse behind John's home

we even found a goof-off sitting on the stage - the scaled down version; they have a bigger stage, of course

One of John's close friends (Doug) was responsible for all the fossils and the like in here

this one was a 100 million year-old tortoise, believed to be the only complete one in existance

John & Team - AWESOME is the best way to describe the facility,
your hospitality, etc.
