PRACTICE AUTOCROSS

March 20, 2010 at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose, TX

Cowtown and Corvette Club of Texas had several Members & Guests in attendance

We raced with the dinosaurs and unfortunately, they threw rocks back at us :(

The surface under once the gravel was swept, was less than desirable; our apologies to all the competitors that came out to participate; several that turned and went home.

	The location this year was the parking lot where the Promise is held in the fall.
		Hector brought the club trailer out to the location; and stayed on site that Saturday evening
	Donna Forsythe handled registration
	Jason with Somerville county swept again Sunday AM but the surface came up as soon as cars took runs.
		plenty of room for rigs
	Plenty of staging area, with tech at the end Thanks to Robbie & Carla Schneider for heading up "tech inspection"
	Candy & Donn Beck long with Kerry King and others handled Timing
	John Dick headed up the event as the CTV Competition Chairperson.
	We did parade laps
		the printer bit the dust :(
	Don & Nancy Wells took care of cooking and serving lunch
	Plenty of pre-stage area
	a great group of corner worker volunteers
	The parking area was large enough and was great to setup a fun .9 mile long technical course
	The event ended and it was time to head on home
