The Host Hotel for these events is the Sheraton in Midwest City

Competitors arrived throughout the day on Friday; tech was setup under the Conference Center Entrance
   
       

Saturday - a Clear Sunny Day for Autocrossing - Forecast = HOT

There were several competitors from out of region, including IL & NE
  The Sheriff's Training Facility in Oklahoma City is a fun road course
       
you have plenty of time to get your car ready and visit before the Driver's Meeting
       
especially with the long "Tech Line" this morning
       
The pre-assigned lanes save a lot of timing runnign the event
       
More awnings going up Cathy looking on as she visits with Marvin
       
The Driver's Meeting on Saturday was held by Alan Jarvis of TVS
Sunday it was by Ron Ruston of OCCC which hosted the 7 NTV sanctions
       
...and even though it is hot - DON'T RUN YOUR AIR; it leaves puddles of water on the track at the starting line You pull out from your lane when they signal you
       
you pull from your assigned lane to the Starting line, just below the control tower
       
The continual swapping of the numbers and drivers
       
Others taking shelter from the 98 degree temps more folks catching up with others they haven't seen in a while
       
Some stand in the staging lanes and watch, others under the awnings and stretching to see further
