Air Force Academy
several attendees visited out here
during the week
We have traveled up I-25 for the past 30 years, seen the
signs for the Air Force Academy however, we had never
taken the time to enjoy it. Nice rain shower with
a rainbow as we were leaving today
The Chapels are amazing - I can just imagine this pipe
organ
...as the sun came and went behind the clouds the
thousands of stained glass windows continued to change -
WOW!
The various sculptures and memorials on the grounds are
truly some of the best pieces we had seen - some were
amazing
the one below, in particular captured both of our
interests with close to a hundred photos just of it with
different light, sky, angles, etc...
just before we left, a mom asked Glenda to take a
picture of her and her cadet
The party on Thursday night
the tables were decorated again - different theme
Sharon, how about another glass of wine?
Walt & Debbie drew for more door prizes
If you were feeling energetic, you could dress up and
Sumo wrestle
several came up and participated in the Karaoke night
