Michelin's Ride & Drive Debbie
Lindsey along with Don & Karyn Fowler worked this event
Michelin presented a Ride and Drive event in the World
Arena Parking lot, just west of the Hotel from 8:00 am
until 4:00pm
you were able to enjoy driving
Ron Fellows, Spring Mountain Driving School Z06s,
one with street tires and the other with competition
tires - driving them around a low-speed autocross course
We Headed out from there for a 157 mile
Cruise thru the Mountains
Decker's Self-Guided Tour Map was
provided by the Convention Committee
...the route headed north from the hotel, prior to
jaunting off to the side roads

this deer wasn't afraid of cars at all, as she strolled
across the highway - we actually had to stop to let her
cross the road

we stopped for lunch at Decker's Ice Cream Shop -
awesome hatch green chili burritos
...we encountered a very small amount of road construction
...around Lakeland, we stopped for gas, typical stop -
but then when Sam went to get back in the car, the doors
were locked with the fob inside - for some reason the
hatch was not locked, so in he went
we saw some neat barns, windmills
we ran across a herd of buffalo, the bull put on a show
for us
heading on back to the hotel now; Sam & Cathy following
closely behind
Parade to Woodland Park, Entertainment and
BBQ Thanks to

At about 4:45, they started lining up for the Parade to
Woodland Park for a BBQ like youve never been to
before. An escorted Parade from the Host Hotel up to
Woodland Park. What awaited folks were BBQ and cowboy
entertainment, shopping and visiting.
