This morning, breakfast was on your own; these shots were taken as we exited Tapatio's Blue Heron Restaurant

one last peek out the patio off our room, with the driving range covered in dew

we carried our stuff out to the Vette (a very dirty one)

some drifters were headed our way - oh wait, those are part of our cruiser gang

we headed on out, finding some twisty almost barren back roads to enjoy

Grapetown (ghost town) was one of our stops, this year the school was open and offered some interesting historic documentation

we stopped in Luckenbach (ghost town) for a leg stretch
John having fun while Pat is happy to be somebody, now that she is in Luckenbach

The 2009 Cowtown Bluebonnet Run Gang, hangin' out at the Post Office
Fred & Donna Rosett weren't with us today

...and of course more back roads... down thru Sisterdale, then Comfort, then back up just east of Fredericksburg

...were we arrived at Grape Creek Vineyards for another Wine Tasting

The Silver K, in Johnson City, was to be our lunch stop HOWEVER; they couldn't find records of our stop for lunch and they were downright RUDE on the phone when we called to confirm our arrival time - we WILL NOT GO BACK

Bill quickly started making phone calls as we headed on up Hwy 281 - the River City Grille said they could accommodate all 39 of us quickly

Crusin' on down Hwy 281, thru Lampasas and Hamilton.  Some of the cruisers kept heading on home while the rest of us enjoyed running "the Cranfill's Gap"  ...one of our FAVORITE local runs

We finally found a couple of huge fields of bluebonnets, outside of Iredell, TX

The end of the Cruise was Glen Rose, at the Somerville County Courthouse

THE END
