  circling into Kerrville to stop at a historic church and the courthouse  
       
Trinity Baptist Church had retrained one of the original entrances from the 1950's
       
The Kerr County Courthouse was historical and contained two war memorials
       

we departed Kerrville heading on out Hwy 27 towards Comfort, then up the Old Number Nine hwy which turns into Old Fred Road which turns into Old San Antonio Road
Lunch was at Alamo Springs Cafe, a highly recommended place to eat
Mike & his crew took good care of us and their outdoor setting was a great highlight of the day.
       
Heading out of there, enjoying the back roads, we cruised up on the local Sherriff
     

time had slipped away from us today and we were behind schedule, so we headed south and over to Sisterdale on Hwy 473
some stopped at Sister Creek Vineyards, in Sisterdale for a wine tasting.  It is housed inside a remodeled cotton gin
here, we enjoyed a formal wine tasting
