We met on the west side of McMillan Parkway, across from Coors, where we meet

...we headed north, via back roads from Coors

...we topped a hill around Eagle Mountain Lake and saw the dreaded find - a short stretch of ROAD CONSTRUCTION :(

...our first stop was the Wise County Courthouse in Decatur, TX

The Wise County Courthouse, built in 1896, designed & built by Riely Gordon in Romanesque Revival style

This was the inaugural Cruse for Hector's new C6 "427" limited edition Z06 - he was hoping to obtain the 500mile break-in point for it today

our crew walked around, looking at the courthouse, old buildings & of course taking a "pit stop" ;)

during our stop, a really nice '55 2-door hardtop came thru, stopped and visited with us a bit before moving on

...back on the road, heading north up Hwy 730 - this was a very fun Vette Road

...we passed a caravan of Harley's from Ft Worth; that were heading to a Charity Event - we both slowed to chat but there wasn't a good place to stop so we continued on.

one of our stops was to be a historical marker in Forestburg - we never located this one, so we continue on up thru St. Jo, then on up where we intersected Hwy 373 back thru Bulcher (basically a ghost town now)
