Saturday, June 14, 2008 Michael Brown invited the Members of Cowtown Vettes to visit his Private Corvette Collection, touted as the best Little Corvette Museum West of Bowling Green. Event Photography labeled was provided by Doug & Glenda McMahan
| | We met at 8:30 am with departure at 8:45 to make Michael's Collection by 9:00 am | | | | | | | | | A few collected their CCP cruiser point for the social, while waiting | | | | | | | | It was starting to warm up quickly, most found shelter in the shade, over by the buildings | | | | | | |
| | We felt that this being Father's Day weekend, the turnout was going to be light and we were correct, with only 35 Members in attendance. After a short Driver's Meeting, we caravanned over to Michael's, where we parked at his guest house and/or the street, to go enjoy the visit to his collection | | | | | | | | |
| Michael led us back to the building where his collection is - he gave us the short history of their property, the building his collection, etc. before we entered. | | | | | | | | | | We entered thru a door which brought us by the one non-Vette, a rare '57 Chevy Convertible | | | | | | | | This '57 Convertible is ONE of 68 ever built, a fuel injected automatic!!! | | | | | | | | | | with so many nice Vettes and other memorabilia, it was tough to know where to start looking. | | | | | | | | Michael did explain that the Vettes were in chronological order, starting with his '54 up thru the 2007 Z06 | | | | | | | | | The earliest Vette in his collection is a '54 Roadster, ONE of FOUR black that were ever built!!! | | | | | | | | | | | A favorite was the '57 - GREAT YEAR!!! | | | | | | | | | His Silver '62, the last of the C1 Generation | | | | | | | | | | | |
