Each year some of us look for a neat Vette event to
attend, this year, we selected Vettes on the Rockies.
This is an event that we have never attended but heck,
what could be worse, a week in 100+ degree temperatures
in Texas, in late July?
This is the first year in
33 years that this event has sold to the maximum
registrations, 720!!! Congratulations LGCA on the
VOTR 2006 success and we had a wonderful time this year.
There wasn't a formal Cowtown Caravan since the Morrisons and
Greenfeders headed out on Friday the 21st, after work.
The McMahan's headed out early morning on Tuesday the
25th, joined by their Cassie, Jason and Andrew Handlin
(their youngest daughter) and Glenda's brother Mike
McDonald.
Wednesday the 26th, Doc headed out with
a stop or two to visit family along the way.
Even
though Karl & Audrie decided to late to attend,
after registration was full, they did caravan up with a
group from another club. |
