The congestion after the race was as bad if not worse than the start

The formal ceremony recognized the founders of the Race for the Cure, one of which is a survivor and walked with us today, on this 15th year of the Race - they announced that there were over 18,500 participants this year, even though participant numbers were were seen into the 23,000 range

In recognition of the Survivors, an attempt was made to get all of the 1000+ up or by the stage

The traditional balloon release was a favorite as always - one clump of balloons was hung and it finally broke free

on the way back to the car, we took another look at the porta-cans, much easier now that they were deserted
