The Board voted for Cowtown to make a

Cancer Foundation. YEAH, COWTOWN!!!
The walk is a 5K (about 3-1/2 miles)
and starts in front of Pier One on Houston Street
about 3 blocks from the lot where we will meet.
If you want to participate in this
event, I need to know ASAP. I have
registration forms that will be available at the
March meeting, but I would like to know sooner who
all is interested. Please call me (817) 379-6182 or
email me at kfowler@theblumfirm.com
and let me know if you want to join in the fun. If
you want a Cowtown Racing for the Cure
t-shirt, please let me know that ASAP as well; The
minimum order is 24. Prices are $8 for short sleeve
and $10 for long sleeve. You must let me know at
the March meeting or sooner if you want to order a
shirt. You will also receive a Race for the Cure
shirt in your packet as part of the $25 registration
fee. So you can wear either shirt.
After the
walk, we will go to Esperanza’s Bakery & Café,
2122 North Main Street – 817-626-5770 (just North of
Joe T. Garcia’s on the same side – in fact, it is
owned by Joe T’s). They will serve breakfast or
lunch. They take cash or checks only, but have an
ATM machine right inside the lobby door. They will
do one check per table and will have tables set up
for us at the back of the café. You may park
anywhere around the restaurant, including across the
side street or at Joe T’s.
Time: 10:00 am following Race for
the Cure
Please let me know if you are
planning to meet us at the restaurant, even if you
can't participate in the walk. I need to have a
fairly accurate count.
Be there or be
Square!!!
