Saturday afternoon after the Awards, we enjoyed the "Poker Run" hosted by Lone Star Corvette Club (LSCC) with Don & Karyn Fowler as the Chairs for the event.  Red & Barb along with James & Kim West worked different parts of this event.

We met at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center at 3ish pm following the Car Show. The poker run was approximately 60 miles long and took approximately 1-1/2 hours - it had a time limit of 2-1/2 hours.

There were four checkpoints where we drew a card, with the fifth checkpoint and last card drawn back at the Comfort Inn. The "winners" were determined by best poker hand.

Awards were presented Sunday morning prior to the caravan departures

The drive is very pretty this time of year

We stopped at the DAM, the check-point that Red & Barb were working to take a few pics.  Burn-outs were not permitted and the patrols were watching everywhere

Sparky's Road House Cafe was our choice for supper tonight.  They are located on Hwy. 62, which defines the roadhouse diner. We're talking about shrimp baskets, potato enchiladas here, great garden burgers, and more than 100 brands of beer. The back-yard patio is also nice at night and in the fall.
