Corvette Car Show

Photos and information provided by Donna Herhold

Corvettes at the Diamond is the ninth annual car show put on by the Longhorn Corvette Club to benefit local charities. This year the charity selected is the Pegasus Schools/Camp Comanche Program. This exclusive open air car show, previously known as Austin Corvette Day, features two hundred Corvettes which drew approximately 10,000 attendees last year. The event, with no admission charge to the public, runs from 10AM to 4PM. In addition to viewing a virtual sea of Corvettes, the public can participate in silent auctions, live radio broadcasts, and a variety of exhibitors presenting their services and products.

Music was provided by BootStrap

It was a great show as they had over 170 Vettes representing all Corvette generations - from C-1 to C-5

Mike & Donna's C5 Coupe - took 2nd in their class

The Dunking Booth raised a considerable amount of money from enlisted men dunking their officer (so the story is told)

THE END
