directions, there was great support for this race and the
support of all the participants helping to raise
money for the defeat this disease. |

The work on the Bank
One building didn't stop today, the jack hammers and
this welder was being hoisted up as we walked down
the street |

at the 2 mile marker,
you had a chance to get a drink of water and a stop
for the potty if needed |

The Ones Celebrating their fight
against this disease were honored on stage along with
some very emotional speeches and songs |

The Fort Worth Star
Telegram reported that 15,443
walkers and runners participated, raising
$820,000
(with donations still coming in) for
"The Race for the Cure"

After the walk, we went to Seventh Street Café
located at 2736 W. 7th Street for
brunch. The Café was very crowded and to make
it worse, "some of us" forgot to relay to Karyn that
we had more folks coming, messing up her reservation
count - our apologies. |
