A catered BBQ meal was served
around 4 PM |
We were standing and visiting in the breezeway at
the barn, then someone must have rang the dinner bell |
| |
The Briney's barn was 'clean as a
whistle' and setup for us all to feast |
They had placed prints of Stan's
drawings to use as placemats - I don't think anyone used them for
that. |
Here are two of the sketches |
| |
| |
There was plenty of food and I don't
think anyone went away hungry |

Stan's '53 Vette Artwork
This '53 Vette Artwork was given away by the Briney's as a door prize.
The caterer picked the winner from ticket slips matching numbers on
the back of the nametags - Karyn Fowler was the lucky winner |

| |
Several of us helped tear down the
tables and chairs after the meal |
and yes, for those of you wondering, Scott
confirmed that he indeed had on shorts under
his shirt! |
A little before 6 PM, we rounded up and headed back to the Metroplex
in small groups
This was the sign at the entrance to
Stan & Priscilla's Ranch, taken as we left for the day. |

Don & Nancy dragging up the rear as
we left the ranch |
| |
as with most good Westerns, the day
ended as we rode
off into the sunset |
and what a beautiful sunset it was! |
| |
| |
Stan & Priscilla for opening up your home,
gallery and ranch for a fun filled afternoon with great friends and
food |
